Regular readers of the site will of course be aware of casino chip collector Gregg Fisher and his casino chip world record breaking achievements. Well, we’re happy to announce that it’s now official, Gregg has received notification from Guinness that his third record is official. 3113 is now the number to beat… Good luck collectors :-D.

3,675 different tokens.
Total of 8,188 different chips and tokens. ( casinos change their chips and tokens periodically).
In terms of the actual 3113 chip record Guinness guideline is 1 unique chip or token from each casino.
Casinos periodically change their chips and tokens (called versions ). The 8,188 is different chips and tokens ( versions ) from across these casinos!
Example: Flamingo Las Vegas has been around for 70 years. If they changed chips every 10 years there would be 7 different versions of flamingo chips. Only 1 can be used in the record.
